Encounters is a series of seminars that take place alongside film festivals. The series kicks off at Docpoint festival in Helsinki January 26th 2012. Next seminars will be held at Tampere short film festival and Dance film festival ‘Loikka’ in spring 2012.

The topics cover opportunities and challenges that film-makers face in current climate. For instance the Docpoint seminar focuses on new medias and film. Speakers are leading experts and innovators alongside with established film makers.
