The British-Finnish Scholarship Alumni Network (BFSAN)
The British Council and the British Embassy in Helsinki have recently established the British-Finnish Scholarship Alumni Network (BFSAN). The network is open to all scholars who studied in the UK under the Chevening Scholarship and British Council Scholarship schemes and to those who participated in the current scheme that has been running for the past five years.

The British scholarship programmes were set up to establish long-term relationships between the UK and Finland, and to enhance academic and business links between the two countries.

Through the BFSAN network, the British Council, the British Embassy in Helsinki and the sponsoring companies and partners aims to develop closer ties between all current and former scholars and to bring them together to share experiences and create partnerships.

The BFSAN alumni network organises a range of events, both in Helsinki and in the UK, so that the alumni can meet and network. In addition, we publish a quarterly electronic newsletter which provides information about forthcoming events and articles on current scientific, political, commercial and cultural topics.

If you are a former British Scholar and you would like more information or to participate in the activities of the BFSAN Alumni network, please contact:
