The British Council promotes the use and learning of English worldwide. Globally a large part of British Council’s activities involves teaching English and offering exams.

In Finland the IELTS (International English Testing System) is offered by Finbrit. They also offer English teaching for businesses and other organisations.  The British Council Finland does not offer contact teaching but we encourage learners to explore our resources on-line and in the UK.
