| The pupils tackled local environmental problems and issues that concerned young people in Kerava. The head of development of Kerava city – Harri Nikander –promised to take the ideas forward to other decision makers in Kerava. The winning idea concerned the use of school facilities for various social activities in the afternoons. Another idea that scored high in voting proposed a so-called Hang-out park in the Sompio area.
