| Six teams from six schools across the Helsinki metropolitan area and one task: to come up with fresh and innovative ideas to tackle climate change. The participants showed great enthusiasm and lots of knowledge and skills throughout the duration of the day and refined their initial ideas into entertaining and inspiring presentations.
The presentations were observed and commented by the city councillors from all the cities involved: Johanna Karimäki from Espoo; Sanna Vesikansa from Helsinki; Kati Tyystjärvi from Vantaa and Eero Forsten from Kerava. Also Sanna Koskinen from the Helsinki City Planning Department was part of the discussion panel.
The event was organised as a joint effort by two of the British Council's regional projects - Creative Cities and Challenge Europe.
